TERMS OF SERVICE

Digital Products and Limited License

Digital products sold or provided by Owen Aviation may include building instructions, instruction manuals, parts lists, diagrams, templates, decal artwork, reference files, photographs, illustrations, written materials, and other downloadable content.

Purchasing or downloading a digital product does not transfer ownership of the product or its intellectual-property rights to the customer. Owen Aviation retains all rights, title, and interest in its original digital products and content.

Subject to payment of all applicable charges and compliance with these Terms, Owen Aviation grants the purchaser a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, and revocable license to download and use the purchased digital product solely for the purchaser’s own private, noncommercial use.

Unless a product page expressly provides otherwise, the license permits the purchaser to:

  • Download and retain a reasonable number of backup copies for personal use
  • Print a reasonable number of copies for personal reference
  • Use the instructions and parts list to build the model for the purchaser’s own personal collection
  • Display a personally built model
  • Share photographs or videos of the completed model, provided the digital files themselves are not displayed or distributed in a usable or substantially reproducible form

The license does not constitute a sale or assignment of any copyright, trademark, design right, or other intellectual-property right.

Prohibited Use and Redistribution of Digital Products

Without Owen Aviation’s prior written permission, customers may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, email, share, lend, sublicense, rent, sell, resell, or otherwise provide any digital product to another person
  • Upload files to file-sharing services, cloud folders, social-media groups, forums, marketplaces, databases, repositories, or other public or private distribution systems
  • Share download links, account credentials, passwords, access codes, or other methods of accessing purchased files
  • Sell, trade, give away, or include the files with another product or transaction
  • Convert, extract, trace, redraw, scan, photograph, screen-record, or reformat the files for redistribution
  • Remove, alter, conceal, or obscure copyright notices, watermarks, branding, credits, product identifiers, or digital-rights information
  • Use any digital product as the basis for competing instructions, kits, templates, decals, printed products, or commercial design services
  • Use the files to manufacture or sell completed models, model kits, decals, stickers, printed parts, or other products for commercial purposes
  • Claim authorship, ownership, sponsorship, endorsement, or official affiliation with Owen Aviation
  • Use the files to train, develop, test, or improve artificial-intelligence systems, machine-learning models, image generators, design generators, or similar automated systems
  • Circumvent download limits, digital-delivery controls, watermarks, customer identifiers, or other protective measures

A purchaser may not obtain one copy and distribute it among a club, classroom, organization, business, team, online group, or multiple household members unless Owen Aviation has granted a separate written group or commercial license.

Personal Builds and Commercial Builds

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Owen Aviation digital instructions are licensed for personal builds only.

The purchaser may build the model for personal ownership, display, photography, or noncommercial exhibition.

The purchaser may not use Owen Aviation instructions, designs, files, or parts lists to:

  • Build models for sale
  • Offer paid building or assembly services
  • Produce kits for resale
  • Operate a rental, subscription, or lending service
  • Manufacture multiple copies for commercial distribution
  • Fulfill customer commissions
  • Sell access to workshops, courses, or events based on the files

Permission for commercial builds, exhibitions, educational programs, museum use, or other expanded uses must be obtained from Owen Aviation in writing before the activity begins. Additional licensing fees and conditions may apply.

Replacement Downloads and File Access

Customers are responsible for downloading and securely storing their purchased digital files.

Owen Aviation may, but is not obligated to, provide replacement access when a customer loses a file or download link. Replacement access may require verification of the original purchase.

Owen Aviation may limit the number of downloads, the length of time a download link remains active, or the devices from which files may be accessed.

Download access may be suspended or terminated when Owen Aviation reasonably believes that:

  • A file has been shared or redistributed
  • Access credentials have been compromised
  • The customer has violated these Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activity has occurred

Termination of access does not transfer or eliminate Owen Aviation’s intellectual-property rights.

Copyright Enforcement

Owen Aviation may use customer-specific watermarks, order identifiers, metadata, download records, or other reasonable measures to identify unauthorized distribution.

Unauthorized reproduction or distribution may result in:

  • Immediate termination of the applicable license
  • Suspension or termination of download access
  • Cancellation of future orders
  • Removal requests submitted to websites, marketplaces, hosts, or service providers
  • Claims for damages, costs, or other remedies available under applicable law

No provision of these Terms restricts any lawful right or exception that cannot legally be waived.

Custom-Printed Parts, Stickers, and Decals

Custom-printed parts, stickers, decals, personalized items, and made-to-order products are produced specifically for the customer or for a limited production run.

Because production may begin shortly after an order is placed, these products may not be canceled, changed, returned, or exchanged after production has begun, except when:

  • The product is materially defective
  • Owen Aviation supplied the wrong product
  • The product materially differs from the approved design or product description
  • Applicable law requires another remedy

Customers are responsible for reviewing all names, numbers, dimensions, colors, markings, quantities, placement instructions, and other customization details before approving an order.

Owen Aviation is not responsible for errors contained in information, artwork, measurements, or instructions supplied or approved by the customer.

Colors shown on screens, digital proofs, and photographs may differ from the finished product because of monitor settings, material color, surface texture, ink behavior, lighting, and manufacturing tolerances. Minor color or placement variations that do not materially affect the intended use of the product are not considered defects.

Customer-Supplied Artwork and Instructions

When a customer provides artwork, logos, markings, photographs, names, text, or other materials for custom printing, the customer represents and warrants that the customer:

  • Owns the materials or has obtained all necessary permissions to use them
  • Has the right to authorize Owen Aviation to reproduce them
  • Is not infringing another person’s copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights
  • Is not requesting unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, or prohibited content

The customer grants Owen Aviation a limited license to reproduce, modify, format, print, and otherwise use the supplied materials solely as reasonably necessary to produce and fulfill the order.

Owen Aviation may refuse or cancel a custom order when it reasonably believes that the requested content may violate law, infringe third-party rights, create confusion regarding sponsorship, or expose Owen Aviation to legal or reputational risk.

The customer agrees to be responsible for claims arising from materials supplied by the customer, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Product Compatibility

Owen Aviation may sell instructions, printed parts, stickers, decals, accessories, or kits designed to be compatible with commonly available interlocking building-brick systems.

Compatibility descriptions are provided for identification and informational purposes. Compatibility does not mean that the product is manufactured, approved, sponsored, endorsed, or licensed by the manufacturer of the compatible building system.

Variations in part age, production tolerances, material condition, color, clutch strength, and third-party manufacturing may affect fit or appearance.

Customers are responsible for confirming that they have the correct parts, colors, versions, tools, and experience required for the product.
